Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data the Wedding Studio app ("the app") handles, why, and what choices you have. The app is developed by 4ft3rh0urs, based in the Netherlands. If you have a question about privacy, e-mail optroot.store@outlook.com.

1. Who is responsible

For your own account data, 4ft3rh0urs is the controller. The information you enter about your clients (for example a couple's names and contact details) belongs to your business. For that data, your business is the controller, and 4ft3rh0urs processes it only on your behalf to provide the app.

2. What data the app handles

Your account

• Your e-mail address and password, used to sign in. Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider. We can't see them.
• Your membership of a studio, and any invite codes you create or use to share a studio with a partner.

What you enter in the app

• Weddings and inquiries: couple names, wedding date, service, phone number, e-mail address, status and your notes.
• Meetings: date, time, duration, meeting type, location or Google Meet link, the couple's contact details and your notes.

What we don't collect

The app doesn't use advertising, analytics or tracking tools. It doesn't collect your location or read your contacts, and it doesn't sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers.

3. Where the data is stored

Your data is stored in a database on your device, so the app works offline. When you're signed in, it's also synced over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our cloud database. That way it's backed up, available when you sign in on a new device, and shared with the other members of your studio. The cloud database is provided by Supabase, which acts as our processor. Access rules in the database make sure only members of a studio can read or change that studio's data.

4. Your device calendar

If you give permission, the app creates its own calendar on your phone and adds your confirmed weddings and meetings to it. The app only looks up the names of your calendars to find its own. It doesn't read, copy or upload the events in your other calendars. You can withdraw calendar access at any time in your phone's settings.

5. Google user data

Connecting a Google account is optional and only needed if you want the app to send Google Meet invitations automatically. The rest of the app works without it.

What the app accesses

• Your Google account's basic profile (name, e-mail address and profile picture), so the app can show which account is connected.
• Permission to manage events on your Google Calendar (the calendar.events scope).

How the app uses it

• When you save a Google Meet meeting with "send invite" turned on, the app creates an event with a Google Meet link on the connected account's primary calendar and adds the couple as a guest. Google then e-mails the invitation to the couple.
• When you change or cancel that meeting in the app, the app updates or deletes the same event, and Google informs the couple.
• The app never reads, lists or changes any other events on your Google Calendar.

Storage and sharing

• The Google sign-in is handled by Google's own sign-in system on your device. We don't receive or store your Google password, and access tokens are kept on your device.
• For each invitation, the app stores the event's ID and the Meet link with the meeting in your studio's data, so the invitation can be updated or cancelled later.
• Google user data is only shared with Google itself, to create the invitation, and with the guests you choose to invite. It's not shared with anyone else, not used for advertising and not sold.

Disconnecting Google

You can disconnect your Google account at any time in the app under Settings → Google Meet. You can also remove the app's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Invitations you already sent stay on the Google Calendar until you delete them there.

6. How long we keep data

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. You can delete individual weddings, inquiries and meetings at any time. When you delete your account (Settings → Delete account), your account and the data linked to it are removed from our cloud database and from your device. The data of a shared studio stays available to the other studio members until they delete it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict how it's used. To use these rights, e-mail optroot.store@outlook.com. If you're a couple whose details were entered by a studio, please contact that studio first, since they manage your data. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

8. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access to the cloud database is limited to signed-in members of each studio. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data and will inform you if a breach affects you.

9. Children

The app is a business tool and is not intended for children under 16.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we'll also let you know in the app.
